SRINAGAR, Jan 6: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) took action on Saturday by attaching a residential property in Jammu and Kashmir in relation to a weapons seizure case, officials reported. Situated in Khan Colony in Chanapora area of the city, the house is owned by Mushtaq Ahmad, according to the officials. This property attachment is linked to “case RC-4/2022/NIA/JMU,” which was registered in connection with the recovery of arms and ammunition, as per the officials. In May 2022, arms, ammunition, and incriminating material were discovered in the house after the arrest of two local hybrid militants associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and The Resistance Front (TRF), the officials mentioned. Among the seized items were fifteen pistols, 30 magazines, and 300 rounds, they added.
