Kathua/Jammu, Feb 22: The Border Security Force (BSF) detected an improvised explosive device (IED) dropped by a drone near the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on Thursday, according to an official statement.
The IED was discovered in the Manyari post area, close to the zero line, during a search operation initiated after BSF troops observed the movement of a Pakistani drone in the early hours of the morning. The troops responded by firing to intercept the drone.
