J&K : On Thursday, a husband was taken into custody in Handwara tehsil of Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir, in connection with the murder of his wife. The police reported that the 40-year-old accused, Muhammad Maqbool Mir, engaged in an argument with his wife, leading to a violent altercation that resulted in her death. The police have initiated medico-legal formalities after sending the victim’s body for examination.
