JAGTIAL (TELANGANA), Mar 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Jagtial, Telangana, criticized the INDIA bloc’s manifesto, alleging that it aims to undermine ‘Shakti’ (power). He emphasized the importance of respecting and honoring the strength of women, stating that he views every mother and daughter as embodiments of ‘Shakti’ and holds them in reverence.
Modi highlighted the significance of ‘Shakti’ in various aspects of Indian culture, citing the dedication of Chandrayaan’s success to ‘Shiv Shakti’. He condemned opposition parties for allegedly advocating the destruction of ‘Shakti’.
Referring to the manifesto announced by the INDIA alliance during a rally in Mumbai, Modi expressed his opposition to their stance against ‘Shakti’. He asserted his commitment to safeguarding the security and well-being of women, declaring his readiness to sacrifice his life for their protection.
Asserting the growing support for the BJP in Telangana, Modi declared the emergence of a BJP wave in the state as the voting day approaches. He expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), predicting a victory of over 400 seats in the upcoming elections.
Accusing the Congress of exploiting Telangana as its ‘ATM state’, Modi criticized the alleged diversion of funds to Delhi. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, addressing a rally in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, accused Modi of relying on external factors such as EVMs, ED, CBI, and Income Tax to win elections. He described Modi as a ‘mask’ representing a hidden power, questioning his leadership credentials.
