Jammu : Former MP and Ex. Minister Ch. Lal Singh recently conducted a vigorous canvassing campaign for the upcoming parliamentary election 20204. The campaign kicked off with a bike and car rally, starting from Challog and passing through Duggan, Baddi, Taggar, Loang, before culminating at Bani, where Ch. Lal Singh addressed a massive gathering and sought their mandate.
During his address, Ch. Lal Singh appealed to the people to vote for him in large numbers, assuring them that he would work towards restoring the losses they have endured over the past decade. These losses, he emphasized, include job opportunities, land, property, and even the livelihoods of the common masses. He reiterated his commitment to fighting for the interests of the Dogra community and vowed to expose any forces working against their growth.
Asserting his dedication to the welfare of his constituents, Ch. Lal Singh stated that his priority would always be the local issues affecting the people of his constituency. He promised to investigate the water pipe scam of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department fairly, and if elected, ensure that all culprits are brought to justice. He also addressed the issue of prolonged power cuts in the area, criticizing the current MP for being unaware of such issues, particularly in Bani.
Ch. Lal Singh urged his party workers and supporters to be proactive in spreading his vision to every corner, ensuring that everyone is aware of the government’s malafide agenda. He also highlighted his past achievements as Health Minister and Forest Minister, such as the establishment of the Jambu Zoo at Nagorta.
Accompanying Ch. Lal Singh during the campaign were notable figures including Sh. Akash Bharat, Sh. Sanjay Rajdhan, Sh. Lekh Raj, Sh. Thakur Dass, Sh. Darshan Kumar, Sh. Suraj Padha, and Sh. Vishwal Padwal.
