SRINAGAR, Apr 12 : In a recent announcement made in Srinagar, the National Conference revealed that Omar Abdullah, the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, will be their candidate for the Baramulla Lok Sabha constituency. NC President Farooq Abdullah confirmed this decision, emphasizing that Omar Abdullah would represent the party in north Kashmir’s Baramulla Parliamentary seat.
Additionally, the party announced Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, a prominent Shia leader, as their candidate for the Srinagar constituency, a stronghold for the National Conference.
The polling for the Baramulla Lok Sabha seat is scheduled for May 20.
