Srinagar, Apr 17: J&K’s Director General of Police (DGP), RR Swain, extended warm greetings to the people, the families of police martyrs, all ranks of the J&K Police, security forces, and their families on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navmi.
Swain emphasized that the teachings of Shri Ram have long served as guiding principles for humanity, emphasizing righteousness, truthfulness, sacrifice, valor, and respect for traditions and values. He expressed hope that this festival would further nurture the spirit of unity, harmony, and brotherhood among the people.
Wishing everyone a joyous Ram Navami, the DGP urged people to remain vigilant against antisocial and anti-national elements whose sole aim is to disrupt the hard-earned peace and jeopardize the lives of future generations.
Swain reiterated the commitment of the J&K Police and security agencies to safeguard the prevailing peaceful atmosphere and ensure a secure future for generations to come.
He appealed to the public to continue their support in the fight against terrorism, narcotics, and criminal elements, aiming to maintain a safe environment conducive to peace and development in the Union Territory.
