Jaipur, Apr 20 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared on Saturday that Rajasthan is poised to grant all 25 Lok Sabha seats to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a third consecutive term. Speaking at a campaign rally in Bhilwara, Shah took aim at former chief minister Ashok Gehlot, accusing him of being preoccupied with his son Vaibhav Gehlot’s election campaign. Vaibhav Gehlot, the Congress candidate from the Jalore seat, is predicted to suffer a significant defeat, according to the Union minister. “The first phase of elections took place yesterday (Friday). All 12 seats in Rajasthan that voted in the initial phase are destined for Narendra Modi. Rajasthan is set to secure a hat-trick by delivering all 25 seats to Narendra Modi for the third time,” Shah asserted. He also criticized Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, alleging that they frequently take foreign vacations every three months. “Priyanka Gandhiji returned from Thailand after a vacation in the midst of the elections,” he remarked.
