Srinagar, March 5: The Meteorological Department has forecasted light to moderate rains and snow across most parts of Jammu & Kashmir from March 12 to 14.
According to officials, there is no significant weather activity expected until March 10, with the possibility of light rains and snow at scattered locations during the night of March 6 to 7. Additionally, they anticipate light to moderate precipitation across most areas of Jammu and Kashmir from March 12 to 14.
Given the likelihood of heavy to very heavy snowfall in certain middle and higher altitude regions, travelers and tourists are urged to plan their trips accordingly and adhere to advisories issued by the administration and the Traffic Police Department.
Furthermore, residents in hilly areas are cautioned against venturing into avalanche-prone and steep terrains. Farmers are advised to resume farm operations cautiously in light of the weather forecast.
