Bhopal, Apr 20 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav lauds Prime Minister Narendra Modi, citing admiration even from Pakistani politicians who express a desire for a leader like him in their country. Speaking during campaigning in the Hoshangabad Lok Sabha constituency, Yadav accused the Congress of playing a role in India’s partition and praised Modi for his leadership qualities.

Yadav highlighted sentiments from Pakistan, suggesting that figures like former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have expressed admiration for Modi’s leadership. He emphasized the importance of leadership that garners praise even from adversaries, asserting that Modi’s leadership brings pride to the nation.

Criticizing the Congress, Yadav attributed India’s partition to the party’s actions, alleging a divisive approach that led to the country’s division into India and Pakistan. He underscored that the seeds of division were sown by the Congress, noting the historical context of partition and its consequences.

Addressing concerns in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), Yadav claimed that residents aspire to be part of India due to the challenges faced in Pakistan. He highlighted the crisis of survival in the neighboring country, suggesting a preference among PoK residents to join India for better prospects.

Yadav also criticized the Congress for its stance on the abrogation of Article 370, accusing the party of instilling fear among the people. He dismissed Congress’ predictions of bloodshed following the move, asserting that the country celebrated the removal of Article 370, which he described as a stigma.

Amidst assertions of happiness in Kashmir, Yadav claimed that even individuals in PoK are inclined towards India, citing economic hardships in Pakistan as a reason for seeking inclusion. He emphasized the positive sentiment towards India among residents of Kashmir and PoK.

Polling for the Hoshangabad Lok Sabha seat is scheduled for the second phase on April 26, amidst ongoing campaigning and political discourse in the region.
