New Delhi, Jan 11: The Enforcement Directorate Summons Dr. Farooq Abdullah in Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association Irregularities Case
Today, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a summons to Dr. Farooq Abdullah, the president of the National Conference, for questioning in connection with alleged irregularities related to the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.
Dr. Farooq Abdullah, who represents the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat, had been charge-sheeted by the Enforcement Directorate in 2022. The case revolves around accusations of diverting funds from the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association. These allegations include the transfer of funds to various personal bank accounts of unrelated parties, including those of JKCA office bearers, as well as unexplained cash withdrawals from JKCA bank accounts.
